Paula Juchem was born in Santa Maria (Brazil) on July 13th 1974; she studied Industrial Design at the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, and in the late Nineties she moved to Milan, where at present she lives and works.


Mother of 5-year-old Pedro and newly born Bia. She has been cooperating with many Italian leading Brands for the development of new products and the design of innovative grafics.


Passion of the heart, creativity of the mind and intelligence of the hand are the traits that define her works, from graphic design to illustrations: rich memories of a colorful childhood, impressive instants of dreamy sounds from Brazil, sensations and feelings that rise from the tactile and visual references of the world around her blend in her eyes and shelter in her heart, thus channeling into her hand a personal, inspired vision of reality.


Among her latest works, the huge panels commissioned by The Conran Shops for the windows of their London, Paris and New York flagship stores assume a particular importance: representing beautiful natural sceneries, like a breezy beach or a magic garden, they have been hand-painted by a London-based team specialized in theatrical scenic painting, thus linking
Paula Juchem's artistic inspiration with outstanding artisan techniques.
